First Glass Flyover

A flyover glass tunnel, believed to be the first of its kind in the world, has been completed in Hong Kong. The structure, built as a noise enclosure, was glazed into steel profiles using Pyroswiss Extra, a specialist fire resisting glass from Vetrotech Saint Gobain. The system has been tested to BS476 to give 60 minutes integrity for both smoke and fire resistance - a key criterion for the glass tunnel contract.
