[Finland] Layoffs At Ylojarvi Factory

UK-based Pilkington Automotive, part of Japan's Nippon Sheet Glass, is to temporarily lay off around 450 workers at its Ylöjärvi factory in Finland, according to the Esmerk Finnish News Service. The report notes that windscreen production at the plant has cut by around a fifth on the back of a 20% fall in orders. 97% of the windscreens produced at the plant are exported. Pilkington Glass supplies almost all the major OEMs.
