Federation Unites Crystalmakers In A Common Cause

The International Crystal Federation (ICF) was formed in 1991 and represents 108 companies in 20 countries. Its members include manufacturers, distrubutors and, to a lesser extent, suppliers to the crystal industry. John Kennedy of Waterford Crystal is the current president of the ICF. The principal objectives of the federation are: To conduct thorough health risk assessments on crystal products which come into contact with food and drink; To help ensure that the industry conforms to accepted regulatory standards; To provide assurance to the public regarding the safe use of crystal products; & to work with regulatory agencies to establish and maintain acceptable and achievable product health standards.
