The glass industry is under pressure to regulate its processes in order to limit gas emissions to air, land and water following recent legislation imposed by the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Directive. In this article, the author explains how a solution in the lime industry can help glass manufacturers meet new acid gas regulations.
