Extremely High Thermometric Zero Point Depression Of A Lio2-Bao-Sio2 Glass And Its Causes

Tests have indicated that zero point depression in thermometers is not merely the result of shrinkage due to the cooling of the glass, but is caused by the inherent structural heterogeneity which cannot be eliminated by cooling.
