Extrapolation Of Experimental Results For The Determination Of Light Transmittance Of Diffusing Glazing

Many diffusing transparent materials require the use of large integrating spheres for accurate transmittance measurements. Nevertheless, measurements on materials with high diffusing behaviour and remarkable thickness require sample ports (and consequently integrating sphere diameters) large enough to collect the whole transmitted radiation through the sample. This solution cannot always be achieved for economical and technical reasons. In this paper a solution to this problem is offered.
