The German glass industry held its ground during 1995, despite economic difficulties. The growth experiences during the year was largely due to export performance but the forecast for 1996 is for zero growth. This report on the state of the industry was compiled by the association for the glass and mineral fibre industries, BV Glas und Mineralfaser.
