Experimental And Thermodynamic Characterisation Of Deposition And Condensation Products From Exhaust Gases Of Glass Furnaces

The deposition of waste gas components in the regenerators of glass furnaces has been investigated by an experimental method and with a theoretical model. The calculated compositions of the deposits for several flue gases agreed well with the experimental results. Data on sulphates, borates, fluorides, chloride compounds and lead oxide or lead sulphate are included.
