€55M Investment In San Polo Supports Italian Beverage Industry

To support the Italian beer and non-alcoholic beverage markets, in 2014 O-I invested €40m in a new furnace, four production lines and state-of-the-art inspection equipment at the San Polo di Piave site. The expansion resulted in the creation of 30 jobs and complements a €15m investment made in 2011 to upgrade another furnace and associated production line.
