According to the figures in this paper (excluding domestic glassware), overall production in 11 of the 15 EU countries was up on 1997 figures. Production remained the same as 1997 in Denmark and was slightly lower in Austria, Belgium and the UK. Tables are given for each EU country of total glass produced (in tonnes) from 1995 to 1998.
