Eu Container Sector Hopeful After 1994 Recovery

A number of important issues were addressed by the European Union during the past year that directly affect the glass container industry. These include the "packaging waste" directive, a proposal for the introduction of a tax on carbon dioxide emissions and on energy and a further proposal addressing noise at work.
