Equivalent Models For The Prediction Of Angular Glazing Properties

The off normal fenestration parameters of coated glazing can be predicted by modelling the glazing with an Equivalent Model and properly processing the experimental transmittance and reflectance (front and back) spectra, measured at normal incidence, without need of any other information. Besides the previously introduced Equivalent Uncoated Material Model, there are some other new Equivalent Models for consideration. Their effectiveness is tested on a wide set of commercial and ad-hoc glazings, whose coating compostions are already known. The data analysis shows which are the most effective Equivalent Models among those considered, and allows one to outline the recipe for the selection of the most suitable Model.
