Energy/Co2 Saving Potential For Glass Production In The Ec

This article is based on a paper prepared earlier this year by the CPIV Working Group looking at the potential savings in energy/CO2 for the EC glass production industry by the year 2000. The Working Group focused on the different economically viable technologies available to improve melting efficiency and the results are summed up in a table showing the maximum and minimum percentage savings for each.
