From Energy Recovery To Energy Management

The Sangalli Group produces float glass together with laminated, coated and etched glass, covering an important share of the Italian flat glass market, with two plants at Manfredonia and San Giorgio di Nogaro. The group has always been proactive and embraced the latest developments, including an investment of some 300M/Euros in a new glass production line within the last 12 years. This installation constitutes a good example of how energy and environmental control can be positively introduced and implemented, as described in this article.
