Emirates Glass Launches Turkish Self-Cleaning Glass Projects

Emirates Glass (EGL) has launched a self-cleaning glass project in Turkey. It received orders worth US$ 5.4M for projects that require the installation of self-cleaning glass. These include Hamp, I-Tower and Gold Tower. EGL is working with development company Feryapi on two projects, I-Tower and East and West. Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Glass LLC Ziad Yazbeck, said: "The construction market in the Gulf is picking up pace again. Leveraging the escalating demands for high quality glass in Turkey, the win of key purchase orders has helped us establish a strong foothold in Turkey. With the help of our partnership with Feryapi, we are geared to increase our presence in the country. We aim to complete the delivery of glass for these projects by the last quarter 2012."
