Emhart Increasing Production In Sweden

Emhart Glass, a leading producer of machinery for the glass packaging industry with a 40% share of the world market, is to increase output at its Sundsvall, Sweden plant. The Swedish factory assembles complete machines, and is also a producer of machine sections for other units in the group. The plan is to increase production from about 700 sections a year to 1,000. Besides Sweden, Emhart has factories in Italy, and Malaysia and the US (for Cold End). Its sole customer in Sweden is Ardagh Glass Limmared, until recently part of the Rexam group. Machines, accessories and parts are supplied from Sundsvall to customers all over the world.
