Electron Microprobe Analysis Of Corroded Soda-Lime Silica Glasses.

An electron microprobe technique has been used for the analysis of corroded surfaces of soda-lime-silica glasses and has been shown to be useful for this purpose, although reported alkali diffusion rates are much higher than those in the bulk glass.
