Electrolysis Under Control

Electrolysis has been a longstanding problem in electric melting furnaces, causing bubbles in the glass and accelerating electrode wear. A two year development project has now led to an electronic system being patented which has a demonstrated ability to control bubble formation and offers the potential of reduced electrode wear as well.
