Electrochemical Determination Of Mixing Properties Of Synthetic Alkali Feldspar Glasses

The mixing properties of synthetic alkali feldspar glasses have been investigated using potentiometric electrochemical cells. Sodium and potassium B-aluminas, conducting Na+ and K+ respectively, have been used as solid electrolytes to determine Na2O and K2O activities as a function of composition and temperature.
