Electrical Conduction In Ba0-V205-B203 And Ba0-Fe203-V205-B203 Glasses: A Comparative Study

Transport characteristics and density of the glass systems Ba0-V205-B203 and Ba0-Fe203-V205-B203 (both doped with 1 mol% Ti02) are reported. The results show that Fe203 is more effective than V205 in increasing the conductivity and decreasing the activation energy for Ba0-B203 based glasses.
