Electrical Boosting - A Way Of Reducing Furnace Emissions?

Liberalisation of the electricity market within the countries of the EU has led to an unprecedented fall in the price of electricity as a primary energy source. The use of electrical energy to replace or supplement fossil fuels for the melting of glass will lead to a net decrease in NOx emissions, which may approach 20% in some cases.
