Electrical And Thermochemical Characterisation Of Synthetic Alkali Feldspar And Plagioclase Glasses

The physicochemical properties, i.e. glass transition temperature, electrical conductivity, and sodium oxide activity, of synthetic alkali feldspar and plagioclase glasses have been characterised using low temperature galvanic cells involving a beta-alumina electrolyte.
