Effect Of The Thermal Conditions Of Moulds With Sintered Inserts On The Quality Of Thin-Walled Glassware

The use of sintered coatings and inserts on moulds for the manufacture of thin-walled tumblers is described. The temperature distribution in the moulds was monitored and the difference in mould temperatures established.
