Effect Of Sulfur Oxide (Vi) On Liquation In Sodium-Borosilicate Glasses

A laboratory study has been made of the effect of SO3 on the microstructure and liquidus temperature of two sodium borosilicate glasses. The results showed differences in phase separation behaviour dependent on the different coordination states of the boron.
