Effect Of Sb203 And Raw Materials On The Crystallisation Of Silver Containing Glasses

Ce3+ ion is known to be the most effective electron source in photosensitive glass containing Ag and the effectiveness of metal Ag as a heterogenous nucleation site in glass is affected by the ratio of Ce3+/Ce4+. The ratio of Ce3+/Ce4+ in glass and the effect of this ratio to crystallisation of glass by raw materials were investigated.
