The Effect Of Preparation Method On Colour Properties Of Blue-Violet Cassiterite Pigments (In Czech)

This research was focused on cassiterite pigments, where cobalt and titanium ions were used as a colouring admixture and phosphorous ions were used as charge-compensating elements. For pigments, the effect of preparation method on the colour properties of selected cassiterite pigments was investigated. All prepared pigments were evaluated for colour characteristics using the colour coordinates L*, a*, b*, and also by using cylindrical coordinates to determine their saturation S and hue Ho. Pigments were also evaluated in terms of their particle size distribution and selected pigments also from the viewpoint of phase composition by XRD analysis.
