The Effect Of Melting Temperature, Sound And Magnetic Fields On The Formation Of Glass-Ceramics In Lithium Aluminosilicate Glasses Nucleated With Zr02

This study looks at the formation of glass-ceramics in the lithium aluminosilicate system with Zr02. A wide range of compositions were studied for the first time in a radiation-heated furnace at temperatures between 1600 and 2500 deg C. Two composition regions were found with different crystal phases precipitated during secondary heat treatment.
