Dupont Glass Laminating Solutions To Raise Interlayer Prices

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions is to raise the global price of all grades of DuPontTM Butaciter polyvinyl butyral interlayer and Spallshieldr composite films by 10%, effective 1 October 2005. The firm's Retrim subsidiary will also increase its interlayer prices globally by the same margin. DuPont said the raise is required because of the "unprecedented and sustained increases in petrochemical feedstock, energy and freight costs". DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions operates within the DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers strategic business unit, part of DuPont's Performance Materials growth platform.
