Dresden Crystal Goes Russian

The famous Dresden Crystal range is now owned by a Russian company, Khrustalny Zavod,which has bought the business form the receivers of its previous owner Glashutte Debern. The acquisition was made through Khrustalny's 85% owned German joint venture company Gus-Khrustalny Deutschland. The deal is thought to be worth around 1M Euros and Gus-Khrustalny will spend 3M Euros to improve productivity and lift profit margins. (whole item)
