It is now possible to download the proposed changes to Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) of the Building Regulations that are planned to come into force in 2010. This can be done at: www.communities.gov.uk/publications/planningandbuilding/partlf2010consu… It is generally agreed that a window which is "A" rated under the BFRC Window Energy Ratings Scheme will easily exceed the requirements of the Building Regulations for many years to come.
