Double-Skin Facades

At times, office buildings are fitted with large glazed surfaces because these, besides being transparent, also allow to save energy and light. However, such glazed facades, especially the double-skinned ones, do not always provide the desired savings. Indeed, they can cause severe problems of overheating, which can only be eliminated by taking expensive corrective measures. This article deals with this aspect in detail.
