The Dissolution Of A Simple Glass. Part 4. Behaviour In Saturating And Saturated Systems

The models used in previous papers are extended to describe dissolution under conditions which the solution is saturated, or becoming saturated, with silica. Dissolution equations are derived and compared with experimental data for the dissolution of Vycor and of a sodium borosilicate glass.
