Developments In The Use Of Selenium

For many years selenium has been used in glass manufacture. At levels of 200ppm and above, a red ruby tint is produced which can be used for both decorative reasons and to tint car windscreens. At levels of 20ppm selenium is used as a decolouriser, principally in container glass.
