The Development Of Window And Door Security Standards

The last 10 years has seen major progress in many areas of the window and door industry, but none has been greater than that of the level of security which can now be offered by window and door companies. The recently completed work on a residential door security standard means that homes in this country are now able to purchase products which can be validated as having a level of security which has been reliably tested to a higher level that that being offered throughout Europe. The GGF, with the help of its membership, has been instigational in the production of the early development and research work required to produce the standards BS 7950 and PAS 24.
