Developing Servo Components

After testing systems over many years in standard IS machines, Heye Glas is now launching an IS machine where the main components are driven servo electrically, It is a 12-section six and a quarter inch DG machine equipped with servo blank mould closing mechanisms, servo invert mechanisms, servo takeouts and high-speed servo pushers. The system is described in this paper.
