Determination Of Mechanical Performances Of Laminated Glass (In French)

Laminated safety glass retains the pieces of broken glass and maintains the rigidity of the glazing, but in addition it retains the shock body in order to avoid perforation. To determine the resistance to perforation, two parameters must be evaluated; film adhesion and toughness. A method is proposed to determine these parameters. Results obtained for a laminated glass 44.2 are given.
