Determination Of Fe2+ And Fe3+ In Colourless And Half-White Glass By Means Of A Spectrophotometer Incorporating A Photodiode Detector (In Italian)

A spectrophotometric method for the determination of ferric iron in colourless and half-white glass is reported, based on the recording of the absorbance curve and of the corresponding fourth derivative in the range 360-400nm, where the absorption band of ferric iron is present.
