Detecting Deviation On Wide Mouth Containers

The Non-Contact Planity Inspection (NCP) is a system for detecting faults in glass containers. The upper mouth edge of a container is checked by a camera system, thus ensuring that the quality demands for the sealing surface of the containers are fulfilled. It measures the entire upper mouth line (360 deg), paying particular attention to measruing level parallelism. Deviations are measured with the values of the height and perimeter or other angle.
