Edra has added "The incorruptible brilliance of the stars" to five new products: Damier, Getsuen, Tatlin, Sushi and On the Rocks. This meeting of the clear lines of modern design excellence and the brilliance of crystal has been made possible by using a special fabric containing Kevlar, precut by the Edra experts. Swarovski then added thousands of tiny crystals XILIONr using the patented Hot Fix technology. The crystals, backed with special glue activated by temperatures, were permanently affixed to the fabric pieces before Edra's couture department completed the designer furniture. Each piece carries a special metallic numbered tag with the brand names Swarovski and Edra, guaranteeing authenticity and as a signal that this cooperation transforms design into glittering objects of desire. In a statement, Edra describes the cooperation with Swarovski as a "predestined meeting" saying that crystal enhances the clear perfection of the pieces and creates a crystal skin that enhances the furniture's lines and dissolves into the material. The result, Edra says, is crystal magic and seduction. "The twinkling of crystal_makes design an object of passion."
