Dartington is continuing to expand the boundaries of design innovation with the launch of one of its new Spring collections, a sophisticated vase ensemble developed entirely by a young Dartington protege. Combining minimal design with an original & seamed effect, "Cresco" is the imaginative styling of the RSA Dartington Crystal Design Bursary Award winner, Jochen Holz. The newly-developed technique uses freehand pinching skills to produce totally individual crystal pieces. The vases harness a characteristic European style & are available in 3 sizes. Separately, a number of internationally renowned artists led a programme of workshops and lectures courtesy of Dartington Crystal and Southwest Arts. Four leading glass artists contributed to the workshops, enabling local craftsmen & aspiring designers to benefit from acclaimed industry knowledge.
