In this article, Andy Reynolds from Five Stein, reviews the advances in the design of "super boosters" - electric boosting systems that can increase melt rate and improve glass quality, as well as offer the possibility to steer furnace conditions in order to maximise fuel efficiency over a broad range of conditions.
