AGC has introduced a new product into its growing range of decorative glass products. "Matelac T" is a toughenable, painted glass with a satin finish. Developed to satisfy today's continuing trend towards smooth and matt surfaces, Matelac T complements AGC's existing Lacobel T colour range to present a new spectrum of contemporary design possibilities, while offering the same benefits and properties. Matelac T consists of float glass with an acid-etched surface on one side and is covered with high quality paint to be heat-treated on the other, making it the first painted glass with a satin finish that processors can cut and heat-treat at their factory. Once toughened, Matelac T is an enamelled glass that is moisture, scratch, heat and UV resistant. The product is available in a standard range of 15 colours.
