Decoration - Going Organic

Sun Chemical Screen has developed a number of technologies for glass and ceramic decoration, based on organic materials, which use solvent based catalytic technology or radiation curing (most often UV) technology. They offer glass decorators the ability to use a much wider range of colours and special effects. Some colours are almost impossible in organic inks while the potential space and energy savings also make this technology very attractive. An interesting development has been the use of thermochromic pigments in UV curing and catalytic curing organic inks to provide a novelty message, such as a warning sign that reads "Hot" when the temperature rises but remains invisible when cold.
