Dartington Crystal has opened a new outlet in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, after securing an investment package part funded by Finance South West. The new store takes the number of outlets Dartington Crystal owns to 11. The latest venture follows a £1.5M management buy-out in early May. Dartington Crystal has been based in Torrington since its foundation in 1967. It now has more than 170 people spread across two main sites at Torrington & Dudley, where the Royal Brierley Crystal brand is based. John Morris,MD, said: "Following the management buy out, we have been able to start to deliver plans that will move the business forward. One key area is the widening our product distribution. "Besides the mainstream department stores & high street outlets that sell Dartington products, we have 10 of our own outlet stores across the UK."
