Danone Sells To Glasspack

Groupe Danone has agreed to sell its remaining 44% stake in the glass container maker BSN Glasspack to its joint venture partner Glasspack Participations. Glasspack Participations already held 56% of the venture, a stake it acquired in 1999 when BSN Glasspack was formed from the glass container manufacturing businesses of Danone and the German glassmaker Gerresheimer. Investment funds advised by CVC Capital Partners are financing Glasspack Participations. (whole item)
