Cyrstallisation Kinetics Of Srlib9O15 Glasses By Differential Thermal Analysis

Transparent glasses of SrLiB9O15 (SLBO) were fabricated via the conventional melt-quenching technique. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) along with differential thermal analysis (DTA) carried out on the as-quenched samples confirmed their amorphous and glassy nature, respectively. DTA runs were made at different heating rates in order to evaluate the activation energies associated with the glass transition and crystallisation of SrLiB2O15 glasses.
