Cullet Pre-Heating

The increase in the amount of used glass recycled by the container industry has led to a reduction in the amount of primary raw materials used. Increasing environmental pollution and the necessity to save energy and natural resources mean that the recycling of cullet in glass melting furnaces has become much more important. As an answer to the demands made on the glass industry SORG have developed a cullet pre-heating system, which is a significant step forward in cullet usage technology, as it uses the residual heat content of the waste gases to pre-heat cullet.
