Crystallization Kinetics And Mophology Of An Li2O-Mno2-Fe2O3-Cao-P2O5-Sio2 Glass

The crystallization kinetics and morphology of an Li2O-MnO2-Fe2O3-CaO-P2O5-SiO2 glass with extra addition of Al2O3 (LMFCPSA glass) have been studied using DTA and STEM. The apparent activation energy of the crystallization from an LMFCPSA glass determined by DTA, using a nonisothermal method, is found to be 73.0 kcal/mol.
