Crystallisation Of Doped Chalcogenide Glasses

The aim of this research was to produce infrared transmitting chalcogenide glass-ceramics, nucleated by appropriated nucleants. These materials, transparent in a wide range of the IR region, with improved thermal and mechanical properties are to be applied as passive or active components in high-power lasers and solar energy applications.
