Crystal Maker Grows Into New Spheres

Crystal Arc produces handcrafted crystal items and trophies (it has no connection with Arc International). The company was set up in 2001 by Faisal Seddiq al Muttawa and Musnasir Saifuddin, who employed 6 craftsmen to produce their designs. By 2005, it had expanded its factory and had a workforce of 135, including 108 craftsmen, producing over 300 items/day. The company claims a world first with the introduction of a range of crystal gifts incorporating spectacular colours, using fused glass technology. Its production investments included a new furnace and a laser engraving system to handle items up to 70cm tall on a round base. The plant is set up with equipment for glass bending; fusing; architectural glass processing; blasting; & acid etching to create new product lines & new orders have been won from the US & Europe for coloured crystal.
